Reservations
Your reservation is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from us.
If you haven’t received a confirmation within a few hours, please check your spam folder or feel free to contact us — we’re happy to double-check everything with you.
We kindly ask guests to provide correct contact details so we can stay in touch about your booking if needed.
Check-in & Check-out
Check-in: 2:00 pm
Check-out: 11.00 am
Please let us know your estimated arrival time in advance so we can welcome you personally.
Early check-in or late check-out may be possible depending on availability.
Payment
Accepted payment methods: Cash (Colones or USD), Creditcard, SINPE.
In most cases, payment is made upon arrival.
For certain bookings — such as peak periods or specific situations — we may request a small deposit to secure your reservation. We will always communicate this clearly as soon as we receive your reservation..
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change.
Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival
For cancellations within 7 days, a fee may apply
In case a deposit has been paid, this becomes non-refundable in case of a cancellation within 7 days before check-in date.
If your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible — we’ll always try to be flexible where we can.
Children Policy
We welcome children aged 8 and above.
To maintain a calm, relaxing atmosphere for all guests, our property is not ideally suited for younger children.
However, exceptions may be possible depending on the season and specific circumstances. Please feel free to contact us to discuss your situation.
Quiet Hours & Respect for Nature
La Casa del Conde is a small boutique stay surrounded by nature and designed for relaxation.
We kindly ask guests to respect:
quiet hours 9pm - 8am
other guests at all time
wildlife and the natural surroundings
Excessive noise, parties or disruptive behavior are not permitted.
Visitors
Only registered guests are allowed in the rooms unless agreed otherwise in advance.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the rooms.
You can smoke on your own terrace as long as it's not bothering other guests, on the premises, parking or garden. Please clean up your cigarette buds.
Pets
Pets are not allowed
Swimming Pool
Guests use the swimming pool and property facilities at their own risk.
Children must always be supervised by an adult.
Liability
La Casa del Conde is not responsible for:
loss, theft or damage of personal belongings
accidents, injuries or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property during their stay.
Unforeseen Circumstances
We are not responsible for cancellations, delays or interruptions caused by events beyond our control, such as extreme weather, natural events, road closures, ferry disruptions or power outages.
Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service or end a stay in case of unsafe, illegal or seriously disruptive behavior.
